Cameras on! The European YOUTH – REC project kicks off.
The European project “Youth- Rec: Youth Recording Educational Campaigns”, funded by Erasmus Plus, aims to involve young people in society and encourage their participation in it, giving them a voice through a creative method based on three innovative tools: the production of audiovisual pieces, storytelling and graphic design. In this way, the young people will participate in a training itinerary to learn how to express their messages through film and to promote their work, which will eventually be exhibited at an international film festival.
During the initial meeting of the project, which took place in Palermo (Italy) from 22 to 25 January, administrative and financial issues have been presented in order to be efficient in the management of the project, as well as the quality assurance plan, the research on the three main methodologies that will be used has been discussed and the workshops for the next phase of the project have been designed. For its part, ASPAYM Castilla y León explained the dissemination plan and the tools for communicating information about the project and its contents.
Youth – Rec is a project developed by organisations from countries all over Europe: Italy (CEIPES), Romania (Gamma Institute), Spain (ASPAYM CyL), Greece (Eduact), Austria (ÖJAB), Ireland (I&F Education) and Bulgaria (Know and Can Association).
