CEIPES – International Centre for the Promotion of Education and Development

CEIPES – International Centre for the Promotion of Education and Development is a non-profit organisation founded in 2007 and based in Palermo, Italy. It leads a Network of more than 8 European and extra European associations focused on Education, Training and Social Development. CEIPES has expertise on Education, Transfer of innovation and Project management in different European programmes tackling the Education and the capacity building of different target groups, from young people to adults, from women to unemployed, migrants and disadvantaged groups. It also promotes lifelong learning, vocational training and entrepreneurship with the aim of enhancing opportunities for youth and adults to improve and acquire competences and therefore boost their employability and inclusion. CEIPES has several links with public and private local and international stakeholders that can contribute to the achievement of project results in terms of dissemination, exploitation and sustainability of them. CEIPES can count on experienced staff composed of professionals with different competences and fields such as psychology, communication, training, international cooperation, social and cultural mediation, social assistance, ICT, digital manufacturing and law.

ASPAYM Castilla y León Foundation

ASPAYM Castilla y León Foundation starts working on 2004. Its main aims are to promote autonomy, equal rights and opportunities and to increase quality of life of people with physical disabilities, allowing them a significant integration among the society. In addition, ASPAYM CyL seeks to be a leading association, providing its target users with the tools to achieve that mission. That goal is reached thank to the quality of its programs and activities, the research and the proper use of new technologies. The organization, and also the youth department, has headquarters in different cities in Castilla y León, with a special emphasis on rural areas. It includes Ávila, Burgos, Camponaraya (León), Cubillos del Sil (León), León, Matapozuelos (Valladolid) Palencia, Paredes de Nava (Palencia), Segovia, Valladolid, Villadiego (Burgos) and Villalpando (Zamora).

ASPAYM CyL has a youth department focused on activities with young people. This department is an active member of the Regional Youth Council of Castilla and Leon, and also part of the Permanent Youth Council of the Province of Valladolid, where ASPAYM is a member of the board. We are also part of the network of youth information points in the province of Valladolid, which makes it the only entity of young people with diversity that meets everything above. The youth department of ASPAYM Castilla y León develops many activities for advocacy, non-formal education, employment, leisure inclusive, etc.

AICSCC Gamma Institute – ASOCIAȚIA INSTITUTUL DE CERCETARE ȘI STUDIUL CONȘTIINȚEI CUANTICE

AICSCC is an NGO whose purpose is to promote, develop, research and to initiate activities in the field of psychology, psychotherapy and mental health in particular (training for specialists, workshops, non-formal education for adults and proffesionals), promotion of best practices; training for specialists in various psychological and mental health branches of modern forms; facilitate collaboration between romanian specialists and experts from the international space. AICSCC (with Gamma Institute as a brand name), has 3 departments:

  • Gamma Training is the educational department of the organisation and is formed by 2 training schools: Systemic Training School and Self-Activation School. Systemic Training School – lauched in 2011 is accredited by the Romanian Psychologists College as a provider of training in Systemic Psychotherapy of Family and Couple and incorporated into the training curricula the newest research related to the clinical practice. The aim of the training school is to create a national and international network of practitioners trained with a high standard of quality and offers a space of constant evolution to the therapists from all over the specialities (couple therapy, child psychology, clinical disorders etc). A training group has a curricula on a 4 years postgraduate format, with approximately 150 graduates so far. The graduates have the opportunity to work after their graduation in the private practice clinic and research department of the organisation, described below.
  • Gamma Clinic is the health department of the organisation and has 2 parts: Gamma Clinic Psychology and Gamma Kids. Gamma Clinic Psychology offers different psychological services to adolescents, youth and adults with different issues, in individual, couple, family or group sessions. The practitioners are accredited clinical psychologists and psychotherapists. The other part is Gamma Kids, that is a department which aims to help children (of all ages) and their families, with all kind of difficulties. The issues approached are: anxiety and depressive disorders, school inadaptation, learning disorders, speech disorders, bullying, family and social difficulties and not only. The psychologists involved in Gamma Kids are psychotherapists specialized on children psychological issues, clinical psychologists, speech therapists, art-therapy psychotherapists and therapists for children with special educational needs (including learning disorders). On Gamma Kids, we work with the child, but also with the whole family in a systemic approach and we collaborate with the teachers and other specialists. The activities are individual sessions, family sessions, parenting sessions, workshops for children, art-therapy workshops, trainings for parents and specialists.
  • Gamma Research is the research department of the organisation and has the aim to develop fundamental research in the field of neurosciences and consciousness, but also in the psychotherapy field. Through this department, we want to develop new training curriculas for proffesionals in the psychological field, to develop new methods and instruments for a high standard intervention. Our research platform reunite specialists from psychology, cognitive sciences, genetics, human sciences and children psychology (the psychologists which are working on Gamma Kids are also researchers in the Gamma Research department).

I&F EDUCATION

I & F Education is an Irish based organisation working in and from Dublin for the educational development of people of all ages, especially in the areas of entrepreneurship, sport and personal development, youth, language acquisition, inclusion and diversity and rural development. We stress and put the emphasis on lifelong learning as well as adult learning.

ENTREPRENEUSHIP: Our programmes offer everyone a possibility to upskill and learn the abilities to become an independent self-starter, who tries hard to face the obstacles in life with a sporting spirit. We offer courses for entrepreneurs and the self-employed. We give special pride of place to the acquisition of soft skills by personal coaching and mentoring and by providing people with links to companies. We encourage new companies and initiatives and get people to think laterally and positively about their careers and their future. We work both in city areas and also in rural communities where farming, digitalization and green policies are key to their development.

YOUTH: Young people can learn key competences if the educational setting is right. We believe in providing young people with the tools to improve their personal development in many areas, such as emotional intelligence, soft skills, care of the environment, sociability and entrepreneurship. I & F Education runs programmes for young people who wish to develop their soft and presentation skills, emotional intelligence, etc. through our Horizon programme.

SPORT: Sport is a key means to educate people and advance their personal development. Good instruction and individual centered formation is the way for people to flourish. I & F currently runs soft skills programmes through sport in several clubs. We had the privilege to work with Atlético de Madrid in the past.

LANGUAGES: The acquisition of a foreign language, especially in the case of English, is an indispensable tool for entrepreneurship, for young people to get opportunities in life and for older people to get a job in a highly competitive market. I & F has developed tourism packages intended for students and adults involved in cultural and learning programmes centered on English language acquisition in Ireland. I & F Education currently offers English and Spanish language courses with full immersion for students in a family and school setting.

SOCIAL INCLUSION AND DIVERSITY: In keeping with our supportive approach to programme management, we at I & F promote and support Erasmus+ in the context of Inclusion and Diversity.

The Inclusion and Diversity Programme devised by I & F develops project ideas with an emphasis on inclusion and diversity. It also develops trustworthy partnerships and engages with programmes in a meaningful way. Our main target groups are: migrants, refugees and asylum seekers, NEET youth, women, elderly, youth and adults with learning or emotional difficulties, people with fewer opportunities with and without disabilities. We develop and implement innovative projects and provide new tools and methods that meet social needs, create social relationships and form new collaborations to prevent social exclusion of vulnerable groups.

Eduact – Action for education

Eduact is a nonprofit, beneficent organization in Thessaloniki, Greece, operating since 2013 and having introduced robotics in the greek schools in collaboration with the Ministry of Education. There are twenty full-time employees and a great team of external partners collaborating on projects. In order to achieve set goals, a network of 300+ volunteers has been created. They collaborate with important stakeholders and figures in the country, such as political figures and university professors in order to reach optimal results on all projects. Eduact’s vision is to create a better tomorrow with quality education and innovation. By introducing the concept of innovation into the educational process, the organization aims to give prominence to talented young individuals and provide them with stimuli for creativity. In Eduact research, playful learning and fun are put together to equip youth with useful life skills for future citizens. Eduact holds experience and expertise in digital skills and projects (digital literacy, coding, educational robotics, etc), 21st-century skills (soft skills, life skills, social skills, etc), STEAM skills (Science, Engineering, Technology, Arts, Mathematics), workshops and training (of teachers, staff, parents and students alike), as well as research and dissemination.

Know and Can Association

Know & Can Association is a NGO established in March 2007 in Sofia, Bulgaria. It works mainly in the field of non-formal education and on European projects and programmes in the fields of education, rights, justice, citizenship and mobility. It has partners in 27 EU countries, Turkey, Albania, Macedonia and Latin America. Since its creation in 2007, Know and Can Association works actively on national and European projects, career counselling, personal and professional development, soft skills trainings, programs, courses and activities in the sphere of non-formal and informal education and trainings for children, youths and adults. Know and Can Association performs a wide range of non-formal courses and activities connected to improving social, civic, personal, professional and soft skills of youths and adults and professional skills of trainers and educators. The main objectives of the trainings are to raise the qualification, to gain knowledge and improve skills in order to help people to be competitive, aware and skillful ones and to find successful professional realization on the labour market.

ÖJAB – Österreichische Jungarbeiterbewegung

ÖJAB (Österreichische JungArbeiterBewegung / Austrian Young Workers Movement) is a nonprofit organization that provides students and other young people with a home near their places of education, offers mobile care, and pursues projects in the fields of education, integration, refugee relief, and development cooperation. ÖJAB thus has four main areas of activity:

  • Students and Youth
  • Seniors and Nursing Care
  • Education and Integration
  • Development Cooperation

Altogether, the activities extend to cover 40 locations in Austria. ÖJAB has over 650 employees, of whom over 500 work in the fields of caregiving and education. Our work is also supported and strongly characterized by the numerous individuals who provide their services to the organization on a voluntary basis.
